Google Real Estate

Google has released its new sattelite feature that is tied to Google Maps.

How does Google Maps help Realtors?

Often times Realtors will link their MLS listing of a home or condo to a map. Well now you can link it to the view from space!

The home searcher benefits by being able to link the house for sale to a landmark.

Go to Google Maps and type in your address. Then click on satellite in the upper right corner of the top navigation

This is one of those features that I actually enjoy. For a while I was against Google reverse lookups of a phone number link to the address and then being able to map it. Didn't really make sense to me. But, this is a great application and you will have to excuse me as I have to move to a new neighborhood. :)

I know some people are freaked out by the phone number look-up feature in Google... but Google is just making information that is already available easier to access. Keep up the good work on your blog. Carol

I took the concept a step further and actually posted local (Seattle) MLS data over Google Maps. It allows you to filter MLS listings by price range and see them visually (with Satellite views). Check it out at: http://www.raincityguide.com/ghomes

Maps.Listsomething.com also uses google maps to post real estate listings in Florida.

Its a very good effort by google to provide googlemap for real estate. We are providing real estate services in India by two portals for free :
http://www.gnproperties.com

and

http://www.gnoida.com

THe first free real estate portal in india.
