Karma is that word that self important people use to say that what goes around comes around.
But I would like to discuss it with a twist.
You see Google bought a free blog host company a few years back. This purchase of Blogspot served as a Go signal that the blog race was on.
Along came bloggers looking for a good deal. Many fledgling blog authors chose Blogspot as their posting destination. The beauty of Blogging and the Downside of blogging is its ease of use. You can even post remotely, off in the future, and by phone. This ease made it a breeze for "spammers" to get thousands of posts into Blogspot.
So Google started deleting blogs that had tripped a "spam" flag (whatever that is)..
Internet Irony
Last week Google deleted their own blog. Someone by the name of Srikanth scooped up the URL and started writing his very own posts onto the old Google Blog. Google spokemen said that people are usually warned before deletion (I can tell you I know many who have been deleted and never warned prior to deletion), however the warning was missed. So the "deletion dept." deleted their own Google blog.
Now, this Karma post is not meant to warn that "payback is a bitch". OR some Karmic lesson. If anything it proves that Google is not perfect.
More importantly, The only Karma is that you get what you pay for. Free is worth just that. So if you are into free you had better BACKUP.
