Lol! But he's right. I remember Michel Foucault, a french philospher, who wrote a book about the development and repression of sexuality. He shows how repressing and demonizing sexuality throughout the ages actually brought it to the fore of society's consciousness.
Anyway, to state this simply, it's a classic case of "reverse psychology". But I think its really not as simple as telling people not to do this and they would immediately do otherwise. I wonder how much exposure your message needs to have in order for people to see it as something taboo and enjoyable.
