Foxtons North America has reinvented itself from its flowered PT Cruisers and 2 percent real estate commissions, salaried employees and reliance on the Internet. The West Long Branch-based company was losing money and its business model wasn't working.
"The 2 percent model failed, and it failed in every respect of the word," new CEO Davis said.

A division of London-based Foxtons, it has 450 employees working in six offices in New Jersey,New York, CT,. Last week, the company unveiled a new marketing campaign in which it highlights a 3 percent commission and offers home sellers a full range of services.
