As Realtors you have a number of liability issues that can send you checking for that E&O policy. Disclosures, fiduciary responsibilities and more seem to make your business less about sales and more about CYA.
Well, the Wild West of the Internet, where you thought you did not need to worry much about silly lawyer games might end. You see once it is proven to a sue happy lawyer that there is "money in them thar hills", the suits will come a knocken.
And just because you think that what I am about to tell you is in the category of hot coffee being too hot at McDonald's. Think again. Anyone can sue anyone for any ole stupid reason they want. Believe me. I have been on the target of an absolute ridiculous law suit. It was as dumb as they come. The people suing had to search thru every toilet bowl in L.A. to find a scumbag to do their deed.
So even though I was right, and I and the many others they went after came out clean. I had to defend myself. Meaning time and money. I guess there was some justice in the world as this person suing ended up stiffing their laywer.
Target may be in trouble, and if they are you may be too. On Tuesday October, 2 2007 a Judge with the US District for the Northern District of California approved Class action status in a case brought against them in part by the National Federation for the Blind(NFB).
Let me see if I get this.So a person who has a hard time seeing should be able to see the Target website regardless of the fact that they can't see! Hold on and let me think about this one as I chug on my cold cup of child and adult proof coffee.
I am particularity interested in this as I have a beef with Microsoft as I think I am getting some carple tunnel from all this Internet serfing. Oh! there you go. Maybe I can find representation to go after Gates and Serf for getting me on this damned Internet. Oh my aching neck.
All kidding aside. B.S. lawsuits are no B.S.
Look into getting Privacy and Terms of Service declarations on your sites. I know I am. Consult your attorney (I cannot believe I am saying this). Yah, he is sitting right next door to the guy drawing up the next Target style suit. Hurry though, they have a golf date at noon.
The key to home buying/selling is Realtors, more than anything else. They do all (or none) of the work and make things happen. As a home seller, I need to be selective in choosing a real estate agent. I did a quick search and found tons of Realtors in my area.

Dont think you got it here...
Visually impaired people do use the web... they read web pages through dynamic braille bars and browsers that read the text aloud.
Making a webpage for visually impaired users is not that hard.
And think about it... ordering online would be much easier than going to the store. A user just searches for the product they want, buys it, and its delivered.
